The construction of the STANDART landyacht including the rig , the sail and the equipment is controlled by Class Rules, also referenced as Specifications. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The intention of the Class Rules is to ensure that STANDART landyachts have as identical a performance as possible. This shall be achieved by consideration of – but not exclusively – body shape, frame geometry, weight, weight distribution and sail plan.
When considering anything in connection with the landyacht or its sail or equipment which is not clearly covered by the plans or specifications, you must assume that it is illegal, and shall submit a detailed technical request to ISSA to obtain a ruling before attempting it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
